Sunday at the Jesse Blancarte Time Trial in Gardner, Kansas we had three riders from Santa Fe Trails compete. Josh Mendoza finished second in the men’s category 5 race. Kirstin Carl finished second in the women’s category 4 race. Shawn Morelli finished first in the women’s open category. Great job!

Tomorrow is the first race of the Late Night Under the Lights Series. Super exciting! Santa Fe Trails is sponsoring this race with many co-sponsors!

This series includes free kids racing (registration opens at 6:15 PM a the Warren Middle School on Tenth Street). Kids require a bicycle, a helmet, and a parents signatures. First kids race is at 6:30 PM.

The adults will race a “training series”. that is three short races. The purpose is training. Races will not count for USA Cycling Points. The three races will be “Miss and Out, Win and Out, and Four Lap Scratch Race. Adult races will start around seven thirty pm. (after the kid’s races)

Please take Limit Street to New Lawrence Street (back of the school). Park in the Warren School Lot.
