Smithville Cross

Great day for Cross racing on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Smithville Lake is a wonderful place. Sailboat cove was especially nice. Although the morning started out cold, it warmed up quite nicely. By start time, we were racing in shirtsleeves. Great performance by all of our riders. Great job by Mark Ramsden who raced twice and still managed a top ten placing in his second race. Telford Crisco raced an outstanding race for Santa Fe Trails as well. He rode two races finishing 15th in the Men's Category 4s and 9th in men's 45+. Great job by Scot Milburn, Jeff Squires, and Gayle McFarland - these folks took a challenge and raced their first cross races to outstanding success! Great job by Richard Paz; looking forward to your quick return. Special thanks to Barb Sheehan, Bruce and Jane Edwards for supporting our team.
