Race Start - Buffalo Corral in Leavenworth
Race Finish - Train Station in Atchison
Race Course: Race begins at the Buffalo Corral in the Town of Leavenworth and ends at the historic Train Station in downtown Atchison. The course is 30 miles of some of the most challenging…and possibly the only hills……in the state of Kansas. Transportation is provided from the finish line back to parking or racers may join in on the 24-mile training ride following the awards ceremony.
Directions: The Buffalo Corral is located north west of Leavenworth on Santa Fe Trails Road. From Kansas City take I-70 west to the Bonner Springs / HWY 7 exit. Take HWY 7 north through Leavenworth and make a left onto Metropolitan Ave. (Hwy 7/73). Santa Fe Trails Road is approximately two miles north-west on Metropolitan Ave just past the Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary (Yikes!). Take a right onto Santa Fe Trail Road at the flashing yellow light. The Buffalo Corral is 50 meters north on Santa Fe Trail Road.

Registration: Register Online at www.Active.com! On-site registration available and closes 30 minutes prior to race. One Day USCF licenses available. Pre-registration (USA Cycling Standard Entry / Release Form) and payment accepted at Santa Fe Trails Bicycle and Coffee Shop, 419 Delaware Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048, (913) 682-2444.
General Information: Helmets must be worn at all times. Promoter has the right to combine classes or start times based upon attendance. Races will be held rain or shine. Course is open to traffic but race will include a police escort. Yellow line rule in effect. Transportation is provided back to start line or riders may join the 24-mile training ride back from Atchison.
